How to start playing
1. Open the game — nothing to install
Kingdom Rising loads straight in Chrome, Safari, Edge or Firefox on desktop, phone or tablet. There is no launcher, no APK and no app store queue: press play and the isometric map is on screen in seconds.
2. Play as a guest or save your kingdom
You can start as a guest to try the game with zero commitment, or create a free account so your kingdom, troops and trophies sync to the cloud and follow you to any device you sign in from.
3. Build, train and raid
Place your Town Hall, collect gold and wood, upgrade buildings through 40 levels, train an army in the barracks and raid real players' kingdoms. Defense towers fire back automatically, so every layout decision counts.
Why play in the browser instead of downloading?
Most base-building strategy games ask for a multi-gigabyte install before you know whether you like them. Kingdom Rising skips that entirely: the same kingdom building, raiding and leaderboard progression runs on the web, uses no device storage, updates itself, and works on machines where installing games is not an option. When you are hooked, the iOS app is there — but it is a choice, not a gate.

Is Kingdom Rising really free to play in the browser?
Yes. The full strategy game — building, resource collection, troop training, raids and the global leaderboard — runs free in your browser. Optional in-game purchases exist but nothing is required to play.
Do I need to download or install anything?
No. There is no download, no installer and no plugin. Kingdom Rising runs on the web, so you can play on a work laptop, a Chromebook or a phone without using storage space.
Can I play on mobile without the app?
Yes. The game is built for touch and scales to phone and tablet screens in the mobile browser. iOS players who prefer a native app can install the App Store build instead, and the same account works in both.
Does my progress save if I close the tab?
If you are signed in, your kingdom is saved to the cloud and restored the next time you play. Guest sessions are temporary and start fresh each time, so create an account when you want to keep your progress.
